The league table, top to bottom

Every division of the SpeedQuizzing league, from the Premier down to League 10. Teams are ranked on points, then on correct answers, so a big score still counts even in defeat. Search for your team to see exactly where it sits.

Standings

Scores are measured against each team's base — the handicap worked out from their best ten scores in the fifteen weeks before the league started. Beat your base and you go positive; a strong team can still lose a week to a weaker one on form.

How the league works

A quick guide to the columns and the rules behind them.

The columns

  • Base — the score a team is measured against
  • GP — games played
  • GF — correct answers against base
  • GA — opponents' scores against base
  • GD — the difference between the two
  • Pen — points docked for missed weeks
  • Pts — total points
  • +/- — movement since last week

Points

  • Three points for a win, one for a draw
  • Two points docked for a missed week
  • Miss a week and you take a score ten behind your opponent
  • If both teams miss, both take minus ten and a point off

Up and down

  • Top three are promoted, bottom three relegated
  • No play-offs — the final table settles every place
  • Nothing goes up from the Premier, nothing down from League 10

Ranking ties

Level on points? Correct answers scored settles it first, then score difference — so chasing a big score is always worth it.
